At today's lunch meeting, there was a lot of discussion on the inclusion of women in the Kiwanis organization-- ladies were officially allowed to join as members in 1987, but were involved with the group long before that time. it  was unanimously agreed (at least within our local group) that the women of Kiwanis  have greatly contributed to the overall success of our club, and to the Kiwanis organization as a whole.

Women currently make up about 35% of the Kiwanis Club of  St. Joseph, MO and we welcome other local women (and men) interested in serving the children of our community to come check out our service club!
