Jess and Bobbie stopped by 24th and Edmond today, to meet with Vanessa Steinman, owner of St. Joseph's first Little Free Pantry and to drop off a donation from our club. 

Vanessa and her two sons stock this pantry every day with shelf stable food, personal hygeine products, pet supplies, and more. Many children and families have visited the Little Free Pantry since its opening in October 2016.  Local residents are encouraged to take supplies when needed, and to donate when possible as well. Vanessa has encountered neighbors of all ages who have thanked her for offering the pantry, which is located on her residential property. 

We are grateful for people like the Steinmans who give back to their neighborhoods and promote a healthier, more connected community. The Kiwanis Club of St. Joseph presented the Little Free Pantry with $150 toward future supplies, to use in times when donations are low.
