The Kiwanis Club of St. Joseph, MO surprised the fifth-graders at Lindbergh Elementary today, with a special pizza party with members of the Missouri Western State University basketball and cheerleading team. 

This was the first official event of our new KATCH Program, the Kiwanis’ ATtendance CHallenge, that aims to increase attendance among local students. In addition to the pizza party and inspirational assembly, each student in the fifth grade level receives free tickets for them and their families to attend the upcoming MWSU basketball games, complete with a chartered shuttle bus.

The KATCH Program has been well received thus far, by club members, school faculty, and students alike!
